Workflow guide

Money Robot tutorial: plan before you automate

A useful automation workflow starts with campaign boundaries, measurement, and conservative targets—not with maximum submission volume.

1. Define the campaign objective

Decide what you are testing and how success will be measured. Avoid using raw submission volume as the only KPI.

2. Separate target types

Keep your primary site, supporting properties and experimental assets clearly identified. Automated links can be difficult to reverse, so target selection deserves deliberate review.

3. Prepare content and anchors

Use readable, relevant content and avoid mechanically repeating keyword-rich anchors. See our anchor text guide.

4. Configure conservatively

Start with a small, observable campaign. Review platform types, destinations and any diagram/tier structure before launching.

5. Monitor live links

Track which placements remain live, where they point, what anchors they use and whether the pages are indexable. See backlink monitoring.

6. Review risk before scaling

Important: tiering or slowing a campaign does not automatically make a manipulative link scheme compliant. Google explicitly lists automated programs/services used to create links for ranking manipulation as link spam.
